Acoustic study

The acoustic study is a report that analyses the noise levels present in a given situation to determine the degree of exposure to noise pollution in a given area.

This report includes the following contents:

• Characterisation of the acoustic situation of the area under study, either by in situ measurements or by predictive methods.
• Evaluation of the recorded noise levels against the target limits, usually set by the applicable regulations.
• If appropriate, proposal and analysis of preventive-corrective measures to combat noise pollution to ensure compliance with the target limits.
